Sita GumphaThe Sita Gumpha is at a distance of 2 km from Central Bus Stand of Nashik. It is situated at the western side door of the famous Kalaram Temple.

The wife of Lord Ram, Sita lived in this cave during the days of her exile. It is near the five Banyan trees i.e Panchavati. People believe that Sita was kidnapped by the demon Ravan from this place.

One has to enter the Sita Gumpha from a door that is as narrow as a window. In the interior of the cave there is a Shivaling that was worshipped by Sita. Just opposite the Gumpha is a temple that depicts the scene of Shri Ram catching the golden deer.
