 NIMA stands for Nashik Industries and Manufacturers’ Association.- NIMA was founded on 24th January in the 1971 by (Late) Padmashri Babubhai Rathi.
- NIMA compromises of about 2,500 members from the large, medium and small scale category units.
- NIMA is a non-profit voluntary organization continuously working to solve the problems of the industrialist by taking their issues to government agencies at State and District levels as well as helping them find market for the existing products.
- NIMA accelerates their aim of helping the industries by organizing various exhibition on big scale regularly such as the NIMA Index 2009 and publishing the industrial directory every three years.
- NIMA has also recently launched an online business portal to bridge the gap between the industrialists and their respective buyers.
- Currently Shri. M.N. Brahmankar is the president of NIMA for the year 2009-2010.
